EST. MMXIX
It all began with a willingness to make a difference. This willingness is at the heart of who we are. We continually make ourselves available to serve others locally and globally. Long before there was a global vision, there was a willingness to serve a local community; and that is just what we did.

A small group of people sacrificed to turn a piece of land at a church in St. Louis, MO into a soccer field that could be used to make an eternal impact. That small group of people enlisted coaches who made themselves available to love and serve youth players and their families.

Opportunities arose throughout the city to serve refugees through weekly neighborhood outreach and professional players through chaplaincy meetings. Soon we found ourselves sending players and coaches overseas on missions experiences. Little did we know at that time that what was happening in St. Louis would become a model for transformation in cities everywhere.

All because of a willingness to make a difference.
OUR MISSION
To make an eternal impact on the soccer culture in cities everywhere.
OUR VISION
To see today’s players become tomorrow’s leaders who serve their city and change the world.
HOW WE DO IT
Impact City FC programs strategically engage professional, youth, and grassroots players in each city.
We place and train chaplains at local professional teams that provide environments for players to be cared for in difficult times, find wisdom for daily life, ask spiritual questions, grow in their faith, and serve the world.
Our club teams compete in the highest levels of youth soccer across the country. Impact City FC’s licensed Christian coaches deliver our age appropriate soccer curriculum and spiritual leadership training to the next generation.
CityReach provides high quality free programming for underserved communities in urban areas. Our grassroots approach provides accessibility and opportunities for children to play in a safe and supportive environment that points them to Jesus, teaches valuable life skills, and promotes an active lifestyle.
Missions Experiences give players and coaches from our programs a chance to use their gifts and talents to serve others outside of their normal context. So often, this change of place and pace provides an entirely different perspective for their future. From South America to the South Pacific, we send them out to the ends of the earth to love those who are hurting and in need.
In response to the growing need for more workers, we have curated the world’s best instructors to create a nationally recognized online certification course. The course is designed to train others how to develop world changing leaders from the professional to grassroots level through the game of soccer.
WHERE WE DO IT
We currently serve 6 cities across the country through our staff of 15+ full and part-time employees, reaching over 2,500 players
IMPACT STORIES
The proof is in the pudding.

Transformation

Tyler grew up in Minnesota and played college soccer at St. Louis University before being drafted by the Vancouver Whitecaps. Tyler ended up signing with Saint Louis FC and found himself in a group hosted by our chaplain. It was a place where he could ask tough the questions of life. Over a period of months Tyler was deeply impacted by the group and signed a new contract in Hartford, Connecticut. His transformation gave us favor with the expansion team in Hartford. We now have the ability to offer chaplaincy for that club for years to come.

Opportunity

Nico was born in Colombia before he came to the U.S., where we met him at CityReach, our grassroots program for underserved urban communities, and recognized his immense talent. Our coaches pointed him towards Jesus and we were able to scholarship him for a team. His stand out performances led us to get him a tryout for the academy at local MLS Club St. Louis City SC. Out of 120 players, he was the only one to be called back, outfitted in a full St. Louis City kit, and asked to participate in an inter-squad scrimmage. Nico has since been training with their team full-time and continues to be impacted by an Impact City Chaplain we have serving at the MLS club.

Inspiration

Monel was a participant in Impact Coaching Academy in Cap-Haitien, Haiti. After our time spent together, he wrote us this note:“Thank you for helping me become a better soccer player. I hope one day I can also be a coach. I don’t know what plan God has for me yet, but I would like to become a coach and a business man. You also helped me with my relationship with God. I consider you a friend, a friend God sent my way. I don’t know how to thank you for what you did for me, but God will repay you. God bless you.”
