Impact City FC and South City Athletic Club
Announce Historic Partnership to Launch
Impact City FC Dallas
West Palm Beach, Florida and Dallas, Texas – February 7th, 2025
In a powerful alignment of vision and mission, Impact City FC and South City Athletic Club (SCAC) are thrilled to announce their partnership, culminating in the launch of Impact City FC Dallas. This exciting new chapter for both organizations marks a transformative step in their shared commitment to using soccer as a vehicle for community impact, leadership development, and spreading the Good News of Jesus Christ.

Founded in 2019 by visionary leader Aaron DeLoach, Impact City FC has rapidly expanded its presence, establishing locations in five U.S. cities and one internationally in Cap-Haitien, Haiti. Impact City FC’s goal is simple yet profound: to create an eternal impact on soccer culture worldwide by using the global language of soccer to bring people closer to Christ.

Founded in 2016 by David Flores, SCAC has long been a cornerstone of the South Dallas community, utilizing soccer as a platform to foster growth, unity, and hope. His efforts have also expanded internationally, as he founded ongoing soccer ministry outposts in both Ecuador and El Salvador. David, a former college soccer player, was first introduced to soccer ministry by none other than Aaron DeLoach, and the two have since maintained a deep, ongoing connection. With their shared passion for soccer ministry, it was only a matter of time before these two trailblazing leaders would come together to amplify their efforts and reach even more lives.

Through divine inspiration and strategic dialogue, the two organizations have now joined forces. As of July 1, 2025, South City Athletic Club will officially transition to become Impact City FC Dallas. This union will combine the rich legacy and impact of SCAC with the global vision and resources of Impact City FC, creating a powerful force for change in Dallas and beyond.

As part of the transition, SCAC will continue operations under its current structure until tryouts in May 2025, when players will officially be selected to represent Impact City FC Dallas. Starting in the fall, athletes will take the field in Impact City blue, proudly wearing the ICFC crest, symbolizing their commitment to excellence both on and off the field.

Aaron DeLoach, President and CEO of Impact City FC, expressed his excitement for the partnership: "We are absolutely thrilled to join forces with David Flores and his team, building on the incredible work they’ve already done. Together, we’re going to make an even greater, eternal impact on soccer culture in Dallas and beyond. This partnership represents the next evolution of what God has called us to do."

David Flores, Founder of SCAC, shared his enthusiasm for the new chapter: "This partnership is an answer to prayer. We’re excited to step into this new season as Impact City FC Dallas, knowing that we will be able to expand our reach, deepen our impact, and continue to serve our community with the love and hope that only Jesus can bring.”

As Impact City FC Dallas prepares to hit the field, the organization is inviting players, coaches, and families to join their growing movement. To get involved or learn more about the mission, visit www.impactcityfc.com or email jdaniels@impactcityfc.com.

Meet our director of coachinG

David Flores profile

David Flores

David Flores’ first coaching experience came in 2007 when, at 17 years old, he helped his high school coach kickstart their middle school soccer team. After high school, he played college soccer for Richland College (Dallas, TX) where the team finished runner-up in the NJCAA national tournament. He later transferred to Southeastern Assemblies of God University (Now Nelson University in Waxahachie, TX) where the team won the NCCAA Regional tournament and qualified for Nationals in 2011.

During that same summer, David and, then girlfriend, Kaylyn attended the Chicago Eagles Academy where they were trained in sports ministry. Their time at the academy confirmed that they were called to use soccer as a tool to tell others about Jesus.

David then founded South City Athletic Club and also leads mission trips to El Salvador. Now with 15 years of coaching experience, Coach David holds the National Youth License and the United States Soccer Federation D License. He is excited to now be the Director of Coaching for Impact City FC Dallas!

Meet our President & ceo

Aaron DeLoach

Out of college Aaron signed a professional soccer contract with the Charlotte Eagles of the USL. During his playing career his heart for people moved him to action in the philanthropic world where he developed an inner-city soccer ministry, served as the chairman of the board for a local non-profit, and traveled extensively across the world transforming lives through the universal language of soccer.

Since that time Aaron has held coaching positions at Florida Atlantic University, Palm Beach Atlantic University and Southwestern Assemblies of God University (where he coached David Flores). Prior to founding Impact City FC he spent a decade pastoring in the local church. Aaron is the author of Today vol. 1 and holds a Masters in Theological Studies from Liberty University. He and his wife Lauryn have three kids and reside in South Florida.

Meet our transition coordinator

Jaelene Daniels

Jaelene Daniels is serving as the Transition Coordinator as South City Athletic Club becomes Impact City FC Dallas. She had a decorated soccer career, being drafted as the 7th overall pick in the NWSL, playing 7 seasons, finishing as a three-time NWSL champion, while also garnering 8 United States Women’s National Team Caps over 3 years. Perhaps one of her greatest accomplishments was being ranked in the top 100 women’s soccer players in the world.

More than that though, she has a massive heart to use the game that changed her life as a tool to reach the next generation. As the Transition Coordinator, she will work with the SCAC staff and family to ensure that they experience exceptional care and remarkable quality as we come together as one moving into the future!
